Tarsier Studios, member in NetPort, has been awarded with the Gazelle award. The gaming company Tarsier has had an increadible growth in revenue with 467% and now have 40 employees in Karlshamn and Malmö. Tarsier Studios has, toghether with Sony, been developing the game Little Big Planet and have now been entrusted with the main responsibility for developing the game for Sonys new game console, Playstation Vita.
The Gazelle award, presented by the Swedish financial magazine Dagens Industri, is awarded to companies that “has achieved a continuous growth in revenue or gross profit for the last four financial years, and which has, in total, more than doubled the revenue or the gross profit in the period”.
