NetPort Science Park creates sustainable growth and community development by promoting collaboration between the business community, academia and the public sector. We inspire the development and dissemination of skills, business opportunities, education, research and other innovation fostering activities. NetPort initiates and participates in research projects in collaboration with local, national and international partners, primarily in three focus areas: Digital Media, Energy and Intelligent Transport Systems.
NetPort expanding
We are now expanding our premisses in order to give space for 700 new workplaces, cinema, concert hall and restaurants. The new building will offer a flexible forum for innovation, maximing collaborative opportunities and unique networks. Read more

NetPort Science Park
NetPort Science Park is a hub for people, innovation and creativity that offers opportunities for new business contacts and rapid development for companies proficient at applying knowledge. Our forum plays host to three committed stakeholders: Karlshamn Municipality, the Blekinge Institute of Technology and the business community. Our business community flourishes in close cooperation with the Blekinge Institute of Technology and research is providing new knowledge and discoveries. Startups receive support from our partner Blekinge Business Incubator. The students have possibilities to get apprenticeships and mentors from the business community, while the companies can initiate commercially applicable research projects.
